Course Description

The construction contract is the core element of the project. For a successful project, it is crucial that the dynamics of the construction contract be understood by all parties involved. The management of a contract determines the outcome of any defect, delay, failure and claim.

Litigation in the construction industry shows that parties to a project do not always understand the scope of their work and their liability. This seminar breaks down the construction contract from the time of bidding to termination and post- termination. The modules are a step-by-step analysis which tracks the life of the contract.
